A wonderful and patriotic day at Aberafan

A wonderful patriotic St David’s Day was celebrated at Aberafan Shopping Centre on 1st March.

Hundreds of people turned out to watch the numerous schools that took part in the festivities, providing song and dance throughout the day.

Proud parents and family members alongside the visiting public were entertained by the children who were dressed in their traditional Welsh costumes.

What a fantastic, positive community event!
