Aberafan Team Conquers Pen y Fan for Dementia Hwb

On Sunday 20th September, Aberafan Shopping Centre team members Jordan, Josh and Beau joined staff from Baristas Coffee Shop and the Dementia Hwb for a charity hike to the summit of Pen y Fan, raising money in aid of the Dementia Hwb.

Standing at 886 metres, Pen y Fan is the highest mountain in South Wales, offering breathtaking views across the Brecon Beacons National Park.

Everyone successfully reached the summit, demonstrating fantastic teamwork and community spirit!

A special mention goes to Mel from Baristas for providing much-appreciated moral support and light refreshments at base camp.

A huge well done to everyone involved for taking on this fantastic challenge and supporting such a worthwhile cause!
