D-Day 80th Anniversary Dedication and Service

It was a poignant and special time on Thursday 6th June as a D-Day 80th Anniversary Dedication and Service took place at 11am at the D-Day exhibition in Centre Square, Aberafan Shopping Centre.

Speakers outlining the importance of D-Day and enormity of the operation, the sacrifices made by those who lost their lives for our freedom, and references to the Port Talbot area included:

There were closing prayers and an exhibition dedication.
