VE Day 80 Street Party Celebration

Aberafan Shopping Centre will be hosting a VE Day 80 Street Party Celebration in-centre on Thursday 8th May 2025.

Why not join us for a truly special 1940's themed event!

As we honour 80 years since Victory in Europe Day, we will be marking the occasion with a heartfelt celebration. 

This will include:

• 10.30am - Veteran's March through the centre
• VE flag raising ceremony
• 11am to 1pm - dedications and wartime songs

Veterans and dignitaries will be in attendance.

Everyone is welcome to come along, celebrate and say 'thank you' to our Heroes.
